What goes on the photo

When you share, Fotiko adds an information banner under the photo, so nothing in your picture is covered. You can put it over the photo if you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

Why can the address be a few houses off?

GPS gives a position, not a house number. Fotiko shows the accuracy and lets you pick the right address in a tap. Your GPS coordinates are never changed.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Photos keep their GPS coordinates and GPS time. The address comes from the last one found nearby, and the mini map is added when you are back online.

What is the "Generated with Fotiko" line?

A small line of text at the bottom of the shared banner. No logo, and nothing on your original photos.
