Bliss: Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
No account required and no advertising. We don't ask for your name or e-mail address. Usage statistics and crash reports help us improve the App.
1. Overview
Bliss - Vibration Massager ("Bliss", "the App") is published by SMARTPOSITIVE SARL ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used.
Bliss is designed with privacy as a default. The App works on your device and does not require an account or any personal information to function.
2. Data collected
Bliss does not collect:
- Your name, e-mail address or any information you would type in
- Your precise location
- Health or fitness data
- Payment information
The App does collect the following data to improve stability and user experience:
- Usage statistics, via Firebase Analytics (Google). This includes sessions, feature usage (for example which vibration patterns, intensities and durations are used, and whether the support purchase was made), an app instance identifier, device model, OS version and approximate country derived from your IP address. On Android, Firebase may also use the advertising ID of your phone, unless you have deleted it.
- Crash reports, via Firebase Crashlytics (Google). If the App crashes, a report is automatically sent containing the stack trace, device model and OS version. These reports are used solely to fix bugs.
These identifiers don't reveal your name, and we don't try to identify individual users from this data.
3. Permissions
- Vibration, background activity and notifications: to keep the vibration going when the screen is off, and to show that a session is running.
- Screen lock (fingerprint, pattern or PIN): only if you turn on discreet mode, to open the App. The check is handled by your phone, and we never receive your fingerprint or code.
4. In-app purchase
The optional support purchase is handled by Google Play. We never receive your payment details.
5. Third-party services
Bliss uses the following services, provided by Google LLC:
- Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics: see the Firebase privacy information.
- Google Play: in-app purchase and app ratings.
No advertising SDKs or social networking SDKs are integrated. No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): retained for up to 14 months on Google's servers, then automatically deleted.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): retained for 90 days on Google's servers, then automatically deleted.
All app preferences (selected pattern, intensity, timer) are stored exclusively on your device and can be removed at any time by uninstalling the App.
How to request deletion of your data: we can't link this data to you, so we usually can't find what belongs to a specific user. To stop further collection, you can:
- delete your advertising ID (Android: Settings, Privacy, Ads);
- uninstall the App, which removes all locally stored data immediately;
- contact us at contact@smartpositive.com for any data-related request.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection under the GDPR, and you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL in France.
7. Children's privacy
Bliss is rated Mature 17+ and is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be published at the same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
