Dictionnaire Arabe Tunisien: Terms of use
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These terms are an English translation for convenience. If there is a difference between versions, the French version prevails.
1. Who we are
Dictionnaire Arabe Tunisien ("Dictionnaire Arabe Tunisien", "the App") is published by SMARTPOSITIVE, a French limited liability company (SARL) with a share capital of 6 500 €, registered at RCS Montpellier 790 372 395, VAT number FR18790372395, with its registered office at 494 rue Léon Blum, 34000 Montpellier, France ("we", "us", "our"). Publication director: Fabien Bouchez. Contact: contact@smartpositive.com.
2. Accepting these terms
These terms apply to your use of the App. By installing or using it, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data. The terms of the store you downloaded the App from also apply.
3. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for private or professional purposes, as permitted by the rules of the store you got it from.
The App, its name, its design and its code belong to us. You may not copy, resell or redistribute it, or attempt to extract its source code, except where the law allows it.
4. Price
The App can be downloaded for free. A full version is available as a one-time in-app purchase, at the price shown in the App before you buy.
Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store, under their own terms. For refunds, contact the store you bought from. When you buy digital content that is supplied at once, you agree that it is supplied immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal.
The free version of the App displays advertising.
5. Using the App
You agree to use the App lawfully, and not to use it to harm others or to disrupt the App or the services it relies on.
What you create with the App stays yours, and you are responsible for it. Keep your own backups of anything important: if your phone is lost, reset or replaced, we may not be able to help you recover it.
6. Translations and shared content
The dictionary and its pronunciations are provided to help you learn. Tunisian Arabic has many regional variations and no single spelling, so we do not guarantee that every translation is exact or complete. Check anything important, such as an official document, with a qualified person.
Your personal translations stay yours. If you turn on community sharing, you allow us to use the translations you share, free of charge and for as long as they are protected by law, to review them, correct them and add them to the dictionary. Share only content you are entitled to share, and do not include any personal information.
7. Availability and updates
We work to keep the App useful and reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or compatible with every device. We may update, change or stop offering the App. If you are a consumer, we supply the updates needed to keep the App in conformity, as the law requires.
8. Warranty and liability
If you are a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
If you use the App for your business, it is provided "as is", without any warranty beyond those required by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost data, or the loss of a claim or dispute.
In every case, nothing in these terms limits our liability for intentional fault, gross negligence or personal injury.
9. If you downloaded the App from the App Store
These terms are between you and SMARTPOSITIVE, not with Apple. We alone are responsible for the App and its content. Your licence is limited to using the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App, to the extent permitted by law.
We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claim relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation. We are also responsible for any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you seriously breach these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be published at the same address with a new "Last updated" date. If you continue to use the App after a change, the new version applies to you.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
If you have a problem, write to us first at contact@smartpositive.com.
Any dispute between professionals falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Montpellier, France. Consumers may bring a claim before the courts provided for by law.
